We started Miniletics Academy to introduce young children to the joy of physical activity in a fun and supportive environment. Through age-appropriate activities and positive coaching, we aim to develop fundamental motor skills, promote teamwork, and instill a lifelong love for active play. Our program not only enhances physical coordination and agility but also nurtures social skills, self-confidence, and a positive self-image. We are committed to fostering a strong foundation for physical and emotional well-being, empowering our youngest athletes to thrive both on and off the sports program. We also strive to work together as team and involve families every step of the way. We believe family engagement plays a huge rule in your children's success.
At Miniletics Academy, our MiniTots program is designed to introduce toddlers to the world of sports in a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate way. This program focuses on building basic motor skills, movement, coordination, and social interaction in a structured yet playful environment.
Program Overview
1. Basic Motor Skills Development
• Encouraging balance, agility, and coordination through fun activities.
• Learning to run, jump, climb, and roll in a safe space.
• Improving fine and gross motor skills with hands-on play.
2. Movement & Coordination
• Interactive games to enhance hand-eye and foot-eye coordination.
• Basic exercises like tossing, catching, kicking, and crawling through obstacles
• Music and movement sessions to build rhythm and body awareness.
3. Introduction to Sports Concepts
• Understanding simple rules of play and teamwork .
• Gentle exposure to various sports like soccer, basketball, and gymnastics
• Learning how to take turns and follow basic instructions.
4. Final Week: Celebration & Progress Showcase
• A fun-filled session reviewing all learned skills.
